Sharing the Dharma Continues!

We are pleased to announce a very special series of teachings with Her Eminence Dagmo Kusho (Dagmola) Sakya. Dagmola has had many roles throughout her lifetime:  wife of our founding Lama, His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Sakya Dorje Chang, mother, grandmother, and as one of the few female Buddhist lamas she is considered a spiritual mother by students all over the world.
Through the eyes and special insight of this amazing spiritual teacher, we have a rare opportunity to hear about the teachings of the Lord Buddha: stories of faraway places, Tibetan culture, spiritual masters and much, much more.

Join us on the first Sunday of each month from 11:15 - 11:45 AM, directly after Chenrezi practice, for the continuation of Sharing the Dharma.

These teachings will also be live-streamed for free at our website:

Jan 7, 2018: The Benefits of Green Tara
Learn how Green Tara can be used in our daily lives to help alleviate fear and anxiety. Dagmola will explain how we can overcome the eight great fears by practicing Green Tara.

February 4, 2018
There will be no Sharing the Dharma this day because of the Refuge Ceremony.

March 4, 2018: Indonesian Pilgrimage Stories
H.E. Dagmo Kusho Sakya, author of the book Princess in the Land of Snows, will share amazing stories of her recent pilgrimage to Indonesia, where she visited historical Buddhist temples such as Borobodur, as well as Kalasan temple, where Atisha had a vision of Tara. If you miss the live stream, we will post a recording a few days after her talk.

Her Eminence Dagyum Kusho Sakya, also known as H.E. Dagmo Kusho, was born in Kham, Eastern Tibet. As the niece of one of the most highly realized Sakya Masters of the twentieth century, H.E. Dezhung Rinpoche III, her training in Buddhist practice began at an early age. She has received extensive teachings and empowerments from many great lamas of all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism throughout her lifetime. Dagyum Kusho is the widow of H.H. Jigdal Dagchen Sakya Dorje Chang of the Khön lineage, a Head Lama of the Sakya order of Tibetan Buddhism. She is currently the Acting Head Lama of the Sakya Monastery of Tibetan Buddhism in Seattle, WA. Dagyum Kusho specializes in Tara empowerments, practices, and teachings, and has many students throughout the world.
