Serving the Dharma
When you clean the monastery, not only do you make the monastery better, you also clear your mind from illusions.

Volunteering at Sakya
Sakya Monastery is a non-profit spiritual organization governed by the Head Lama, H.E. Avikrita Vajra Sakya, and a board of advisors who contribute their time and effort to help run the monastery. All the events taking place at Sakya Monastery depend upon the generosity and devotion of members, friends, and well-wishers.
We are always looking for volunteers to get involved in the various activities and practices at the monastery. People can volunteer their time, their skills or help with the set-up/cleaning for the different practices held at the monastery every week.
The easiest way to volunteer at Sakya Monastery is to join us on Saturday mornings at 10:00 am to clean and work on various Monastery projects. Lunch is provided! This is also a great way to meet people and get to know the Monastery.
If you would like to volunteer your time and skills, please email the monastery at monastery@sakya.org, or call the Sakya Monastery office, 8:00 am to 12:00 noon, Monday – Friday.
