Each year, members of Tibetan Buddhist traditions participate in prayer festivals known as ‘Mon-lam Chenmo’ and recite Samantabhadra’s King of Prayers for ten days . Many participants know this prayer by heart as they recite it among their daily prayers. But they often do not know the significance of this famous prayer, also known as Aspiration of Samantabhadra. In this specially requested teaching, Lama Choedak will offer an overview of this special prayer.

Lama Choedak will provide expert instruction and practice on the art of meditation. Suitable for all levels of experience, this workshop provides an excellent opportunity to acquire tools and techniques for development of a personal meditation practice.
Lama Choedak Rinpoche: This is the third Seattle visit and first North American teaching tour of Tibetan Buddhist meditation master Lama Choedak from Australia. Lama Choedak has trained under some of the great masters as well as completing a three and a half year solitary meditation retreat.
He is a Buddhist scholar, a highly sought after public speaker and has a special interest in making the Buddha’s teachings accessible to Westerners. He has been teaching Calm Abiding Meditation to Westerners for over 25 years and has taught on this extensively as a whole unit at Rongton College in Australia. Lama Choedak’s profound explanation of meditation and its everyday relevance is renowned for its lucidity, authenticity and humor. Lama Choedak is the founder of Sakya Losal Choe Dzong in Canberra, Australia.
