This class title seems almost counter to the Judeo-Christian tradition which does not integrate the two. Chris Rebholtz will talk about how they tie together from a philosophical perspective, and then give examples of how science explains some of the Buddhist teachings.
Chris Rebholz first took refuge as a Zen Buddhist in 1991, from Rev. Master Jiyu-Kennett, one of the earliest Western female Buddhist teachers. After being blessed to visit Dharamsala in July 2005, she switched to Tibetan Buddhism, and took refuge under H.H. Dagchen Sakya in April 2006. She is a grad student in clinical psychology, specializing in neuropsychology.
