Belief and correct motivation are two tremendously important things to cultivate. Belief, faith and absolute conviction in the Lama and in the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha) are essential for any attainments. Having the correct motivation is an absolute necessity. In this class, Khenpo Jampa Rinpoche will give us insight on these important topics.
Khenpo Jampa Tenphel Rinpoche comes to us from Dzongsar University in India, where he was the library director and tutor for many years. He received a Degree of Acharya (equivalent to an M.A.) in Buddhist Philosophy in 2002 and was ordained as an Abbot in 2004. He has received many teachings and initiations from all four sects of Tibetan Buddhism (Sakya, Gelug, Kagyu, Nyingma), including many from H.H. the Dalai Lama, H.H. Sakya Trizin, H.H. Dagchen Rinpoche and H.H. Karmapa. At the Virupa Educational Institute, Khen Rinpoche teaches intermediate and advanced level curriculum on Buddhist philosophy, highest yoga tantra and sutra.
