Dear Friends,
The members of Sakya Monastery and the Tibetan community will host a celebratory dinner on November 9, 2013 to thank H.H. Jigdal Dagchen Sakya for his meritorious and successful efforts and dedication to preserve the Tibetan culture and religion. The event is also fundraiser for a major renovation project – replacement of the old and leaky Sakya Monastery roof. It is incumbent that the unique murals, statues, and other sacred objects at Sakya Monastery be preserved and protected from the wet Seattle winters!
