The Lord Buddha said the Prajanaparamita is the essence of the Buddhist teachings. When you try to understand the nature of mind and the nature of all phenomena, the Prajnaparamita is the most effective practice. In India and Tibet knowledge of the Prajnaparamita is essential in the Tibetan monastic tradition, and more than four or five years are often spent on this teaching alone. The Prajnaparamita is the text The Perfection of Wisdom. Without wisdom the five other perfections of the Bodhisattva are incomplete. To understand the nature of mind we need the blessing from the mother of all Buddhas, Prajnaparamita. You will receive the blessing of this great mother from an unbroken lineage. With her blessing and with practice, it will help to open your central channel.
