Sakya Monastery will be hosting a celebration for H.H. Sakya Trizin’s birthday on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 10:00 am. According to the Tibetan calendar, this will be His Holiness’ 70th birthday!
To celebrate, we will be reciting the 16 Arhat Prayer as well as Long Life Prayers for His Holiness. There will be mandala and katag offerings followed by birthday cake and long life rice. Afterwards, Ven. Khenpo Jampa is sponsoring a manja of tea and light refreshments in the Cultural Hall. Everyone is welcome!
