Vajrayogini is a Wisdom Dakini. In the Sakya tradition there is an extensive teaching by Jamyang Khyentse Wangchuk, a sixteenth century scholar and meditator, that delves deeply into many facets of yogic practice using Vajrayogini as the central yidam (meditation deity). Based on that text, we will discuss her symbolism in conjunction with the study of the Vajrayogini Tsok liturgy and learn the appropriate mudras and music offerings.
