The Caring By Sharing Big Winter Event 2023 will take place on January 6th and 7th.

This winter we have a list of items we will be offering to House-less communities around the city. The list includes warm undergarments, socks, gloves, hats, and much more. We will be meeting at Sakya Monastery for both activities.
On Friday, January 6 at 5:30 pm we will meet to prepare our distributions, sorting and packing items for the following day. On Saturday, January 7, volunteers will meet at Sakya Monastery at 10:30 am. After gathering, we will head out in small groups to deliver items around the city. The number of distribution groups will depend on how many car/drivers/volunteers we have.
Participants do not have to attend both events, but must register for whichever they will be attending. Masks will be required for all indoor activities as well as when in close proximity to others. More details will be provided in a confirmation email upon registering.
Please be aware that, in order to keep everyone as safe as possible because of Covid, there is limited space for this event. So please register early!
If you would like to be a part of these compassionate activities but are unable to join us for the in-person events, donations to The Marici Fellowship are a wonderful way to contribute to these efforts.
