First, you will learn to pronounce and write the Tibetan alphabet. Then you will learn how to read and write the syllables of Tibetan. Reading is mastered by learning the Tibetan method of spelling syllables. You will complete your ability to read Tibetan by learning to identify and pronounce contractions, which are common in Tibetan. [14 classes in total.] (Handouts will be provided.)
