Buddha’s Turning the Wheel of the Dharma. This holiday commemorates the teaching of the first sermon at Sarnath highlighting the three characteristics and the Four Noble Truths. Teaching, or the speech activity of a Buddha, is considered the most important activity of realized beings to mature disciples.
