This is one of the most popular classes at Sakya Monastery. H.H. Jigdal Dagchen Sakya, Sakya Monastery’s Head Lama has taught, “The only way to relieve suffering is to understand your own mind. You do that by observing your thoughts.” In this class, we will teach you eleven meditations including: the importance of an object of concentration, observing your breath, observing your thoughts, mantra recitation, and insight meditation. Each meditation will include a 60-second practice session. You will leave this class much calmer than when you arrived!
