Studies prove that Buddhists are onto something when it comes to boosting wellbeing. Perhaps more than any other religion, Buddhism is associated with happiness. According to the Dharma, positivity and negativity are our own responsibility – and completely within our control.
The Buddha’s teaching on how to improve mental, emotional and spiritual health are as relevant today as they were 2,500 years ago. So, how do we incorporate the vast and profound teachings into everyday life? Improve your wellbeing with this presentation from Daniel Troyak and learn the tools needed to gain mental emotional and spiritual health.
Daniel Troyak is Australia’s first full-time Buddhist Chaplain. Trained in Clinical Pastoral Counselling, Daniel attended a series of in-depth programs on Buddhist meditation and mind-training in Australia, India, Nepal, Indonesia, Taiwan and the USA over several years. Daniel developed a grounding in a daily meditation practice and the transformative techniques he has learnt for everyday life in the modern world. He was authorized by H.E. Avikrita Vajra Rinpoche, Head Lama of the Sakya tradition’s Phuntsok Phodrang, to preside over refuge ceremonies for new Buddhists in his role as a chaplain, and to provide instruction in the core teachings, practices and values of Buddhism.
